Nobody ever pays to read. Reading a task, a permalink, a profile, a feed is free, forever, with no account. Every paid plan below charges the person who controls a record — never the person who reads it.

Free — $0. Features we give away:

1. Words: 5,000 characters per update. That's a chapter, not a tweet.
2. Attachments: 6 per update, mix and match, 10 MB each:
   • Images: jpg, png, gif, webp, heic
   • Audio: mp3, m4a, wav
   • Video: mp4, mov, webm
   • PDFs
3. Link cards: 6 per update
4. Automation: API keys posting to 10 of your live tasks

As of today (Aug 29, 2026), we run this whole operation inside those limits. Every update on the Work Log, every screenshot, every capture video: all of it fit. We still haven't hit the limits yet, and that should give you an idea of how generous they are.

Individual — $0.99 a month, or $10 a year. Everything above, and:

1. Automation: API keys posting to 100 of your live tasks instead of 10.
2. A reserved number of your own — a short, permanent address like /u/7, handed out in the order people claim them. It stays yours whether or not you keep paying.
3. A profile page at that address: your name, what you do, your links, and the tasks you choose to list, with their updates in one stream.

That is the whole list, and the short list is the point: everything else on this page — how long an update can be, how many files it carries, how big they are — is the same number on every plan, and we are not going to shrink the free one to make the paid one look better.

Upgrading raises every ceiling at once — the one that hurt, and the ones that would have hurt next. You can start and stop from your billing settings; payment and cancellation are handled by Stripe, and MyStatus never sees your card.
